Webmedia introduces a traditional Summer Internship Program 2006 for undergraduates
03.05.2006Webmedia, one of the top software development companies in the Baltics, calls for participants in the WM Summer Internship Program 2006. This program aims to provide IT students in Estonia an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of software development.
As a crucial component of Webmedia Incubator initiative, the program offers prospective specialists a series of intensive educational sessions covering all primary aspects of a software development process.
In the first phase of the internship the focus is on intense training in order to acquire the theoretical knowledge necessary for the job. The second phase provides a valuable hands-on experience for the participants in real case software development projects. Every participant has an individual tutor to help out if needed during the entire session.
The applicants are welcome for positions as Software Developer (Java, .NET, PHP), System Analyst or QA Specialist. After submitting an application and CV, participants will be given a test task, which is expected to demonstrate their ability to learn new methods/tools/ways at the speed and with the effectiveness required in order to succeed during the internship period. The candidates who are successful in the task solving phase will be invited to join the Program, and the further personal plans and conditions will be agreed upon during an interview.
Furthermore, junior specialists successfully completing the internship are welcome to continue their professional career on a suitable position in Webmedia. The company values educational pursuits of its employees greatly and thus supports combining their career in Webmedia with studies.
